The Global Fathers United Summit was more than an event—This summit reignited something in me. As someone who lives and breathes this work daily—while still fighting my own internal battles—it reminded me that I’m not alone. It reshaped my mindset by validating the emotional weight fathers carry and reminded me that empathy isn’t a weakness, it’s necessary. From a parenting perspective, it challenged me to show up more intentionally—not just as a provider, but as a listener and a safe space for my children. And professionally, it gave me new tools and language to use in my programming—ways to create deeper impact and connection with the fathers I serve. It was more than a summit—it was a spiritual recalibration.
