Please consider making a donation to support Urban Colors Arts & Mentoring. Your contribution will make a difference in the daily lives of at risk youth and their families. Not only will your contribution support us in continuing to offer existing support programs and services, but will also support Urban Colors Arts & Mentoring as we expand our services to include needed programs, projects and special populations. Which includes food baskets, clothes, school supplies etc.
You can make a donation to Urban Colors Arts & Mentoring through the following:
Corporate Matching Gift: Most companies offer the opportunity to increase your gift to a not-for-profit organization through their Matching Gift Program. You can determine if your company has a Matching Gift Program by contacting the Donations Department.
Direct Mail: Urban Colors Arts & Mentoring offers two direct mail opportunities for contributions to be made – our Spring and Winter Appeals.
Grants: Submission of proposals to family or corporate foundations help fund various special programs and projects.
In-Kind Gifts: Donations of merchandise, products, and services can be made in lieu of a cash gift.
Planned Gifts: Through a planned gift, you can make a gift for the future. These gifts include stocks, property, life insurance, and bequests.
Special Events: Urban Colors Arts & Mentoring holds one yearly special events, a "Recognition Ball" to observe the success stories of our clients and observe all of our contributors. You can support the this event through the following: underwriting, sponsorship, participation, journal ads, raffle prizes, goody bag items, and volunteerism. You can become part of our "Recognition Ball" through underwriting, participation, and volunteerism.
Tribute Program: In-lieu of sending flowers or food, make a donation to Urban Colors Arts & Mentoring in memory of someone. Likewise, to recognize a special occasion, e.g. birthday, anniversary, graduation, new home, birth, etc., make a lasting gift of love with a gift in honor of a colleague, relative, or friend. A Tribute Card will be sent to the recipient and you will receive an acknowledgement card for your gift.
All donors will be sent a tax-deductible receipt. If you have a specific request as to how you would like your donation spent please let us know. We will be happy, upon request, to let you know exactly how your donation was spent.
